JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Create / develop innovative food product concepts
  • Modify / improve existing products and processes
  • Analyze raw materials and finished products
  • Check and improve safety and quality control procedures from raw material stage to finished product
  • Research current consumer markets and latest technologies to develop new product concepts
  • Select the most suitable and effective raw materials for a product concepts
  • Coordinate launches of new products
  • Prepare comprehensive raw material and product brief
  • Compile, check and approve product specifications and labeling
  • Undertake and lead/manage projects 
  • Conduct trials and experiments 
  • Design manufacturing processes
  • Work on packaging innovation and technology
  • Ensure products deliver promised benefits
  • Work well with Sales and Marketing

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Food Technology/Nutrition/Dietetics or equivalent.

  • At least 1 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

  • Preferably Less than 1 year experience specialized in Food Technology/Nutritionist or equivalent.

  • Work experience in Research and Development gained from a Manufacturing industry is an advantage.

  • Must be resourceful, with high sense of discipline, flexible and keen to details.
