Approves and rejects all raw materials and ensures that all raw materials being used are within the specifications.
The position will also be assigned to do the following:
Conduct Raw Material (RM) Inspection and analysis.
Investigate non- conforming materials detected during production run and or from stocked materials.
Validates/re-test raw materials stocked from warehouse.
Evaluates/analyze the submitted RM from new supplier.
Maintains and coordinates calibration of measuring equipment in the area of assignment.
Prepares and standardize reagents used for testing.
Organizes and maintains standard procedures, and raw material quality records
Responsible in report writing after material inspection.
Observe Good Manufacturing Practices at all times in plant premises.
Must be a graduate of BS Chemistry, BS Pharmacy, BS Biology, BS Chemical Engineering, BS Cosmetology or other related Science course.
Must be a Licensed Chemical Technician
Must possess at least 1 year relevant laboratory experience preferably gained from Manufacturing industry
Willing to work on shifting schedule and/or during weekends
